The Association’s Charter was registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan on 18 June 2026.
The Creative Association of Opera Arts was established on the basis of the Charter approved by its founders’ meeting and was registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan on 18 June 2026.
The Association is a non-governmental non-profit organisation in the form of a public association that brings together opera singers, conductors, stage directors, librettists, orchestra musicians, young performers and other professionals of the field.
Its main goal is the social protection, support and encouragement of the profession, the discovery of new talent through competitions, and the promotion and preservation of our national culture.
Its priority initiatives include creating “Maqom Opera” — a new genre combining the national maqom tradition (Shashmaqom) with European opera — and promoting it internationally as a cultural brand of Uzbekistan.
